Since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in China, Thailand has expressed solidarity and offered help to China in our difficult times, which speaks volumes about the deep friendship between the peoples of our two countries. The current situation of epidemic prevention and control in China continues to improve, which would have been impossible if not for the valuable support of the international community, including that of Thailand. The Chinese people will always cherish this precious friendship.
In the face of the current COVID-19 outbreak in Thailand, we can really relate to the grim situation and the pressure of epidemic prevention and control that you are under right now. The All-China Journalists Association would like to extend solidarity and best wishes to your people and colleagues of the press. We believe that through the efforts of people from all sectors of the society in Thailand and the support of the international community, Thailand is bound to defeat the COVID-19 epidemic.
This epidemic makes us feel more than ever that human society is a community with a shared future. In the face of global challenges, all countries should look out for each other. At this critical moment, we are willing to stand firmly with Thai Journalists Association to ensure that media organizations can make their due contribution to the fight against the epidemic.
We hope that the Belt and Road Journalists Network can unite the press of all countries at the moment, communicate and amplify the objective and rational voice, and contain the spread of groundless rumors and fear-mongering. We sincerely invite your organization to join the information communication mechanism of the Belt and Road Journalists Network to brief member organizations on Thailand's positive measures and latest progress in fighting the epidemic, and to share stories of media professionals who brave risks to fight the epidemic, so as to gather together the positive energy to defeat the epidemic.
The epidemic is only temporary. Like the rainbow after a storm, our exchanges and cooperation will be even closer after the epidemic.
